City Midfielder: My Best Ability Is Missing
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has a fascinating acknowledgment of his career. He feels his game will not be as good as it once was.
Gundogan recovered from injury for nine months. Ironically the injury was about the knee that has been a scourge for soccer players.
Gundogan night later admitted ready to be lowered since the first minute. Incidentally his opponent is West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup.
“If I say my ability is like last year then I lie, when you are injured then your ability will be reduced,” said Gundogan as reported by Manchester Evening News.
“Now I have two knee injuries, so I have to prepare myself specifically to avoid the same injury,” he added.
Nevertheless Gundogan is determined to keep giving the maximum ability for the City. “As a footballer you will want to play as much as possible, and if the manager judges me to be ready, I will definitely run it.”
