Oxlade Chamberlain Reveals Top Reasons to Join Liverpool
Liverpool’s new midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain revealed Jurgen Klopp was one of the main reasons for joining the Reds. Oxlade-Chamberlian was imported from Arsenal at a cost of 35 million pounds sterling in the transfer market this summer.
“Klopp is one of my reasons for joining and playing here, because I feel he is really pushing me and wishing I could get the best and get me to be in the next level,” Chamberlain said as quoted by Sportsmole.
After participating in his first training session with Liverpool, the England international paid tribute to Jurgen Klopp for convincing him to join Anfield.
“I feel this place is a place for me and how the manager’s way of playing, it’s an inspiration to me and is one of my reasons – if not the main reason I signed a contract,” said Oxlade-Chamberlain.
“Even when a non-soccer player observes him last season, you can see he has an interesting and inspiring character.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain refused to renew his contract with Arsenal this season. Previously, had circulated the news if Chelsea are interested to bring in the 26-year-old player. But eventually Oxlade-Chamberlain chose to graze at Anfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain can make his debut with Liverpool in the fourth week of the English Premier League on Saturday (9/9/2017) night local time travel to Manchester City headquarters.
